Real work, real experience, real learning: WIL Central’s team talks about WIL@UNSW on Open Day 2019
During Open Day on Saturday, 7 September, the WIL Central team enjoyed speaking to a range of future and current students, and their families, about the opportunities for work integrated learning (WIL) at UNSW. There was significant interest in undertaking internships and project-based WIL activities for credit as part of the educational and student experience, and the range of industry and community partnerships we have at UNSW was a definite point of advantage.
As is the custom at Open Day, the parents had just as many questions as the students! WIL Central was thrilled to be able to engage with parents and students in multiple languages, with our Engagement Manager Camilla Chau putting families at ease, in Cantonese and Mandarin, that students are well looked after at UNSW!
